The Voice of Kohma

Small notes from a small textile town.

Autumn on the river

The first cold mornings are here. The river is quiet, the leaves are mostly gone, and the town smells of wood smoke again. A good time for long walks and short notes.

Old mills, new uses

Kohma grew around its weaving mills. Some of the old red-brick buildings still stand, and it is always interesting to see what people make of them now.

Why this page exists

Just a place to write things down: photos, walks, local history, and whatever else comes up. Nothing more ambitious than that.
